Young Professionals Programme 2021 (deadline: 15/08/2021)

Greetings from All India Council for Technical Education!
We are happy to inform you that the Bureau of Human Resource Management, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Paris, is inviting applications to the young professional's program (YPP) 2021.
The Young Professional Programme (YPP) 2021 is one of the flagship recruitment initiatives aiming to improve the geographical representation of the UNESCO Secretariat, promote gender parity in the Organization at the international level and rejuvenation of the staff at the UNESCO Secretariat. This programme provides an opportunity to the young university graduates and young qualified professionals under or equal to the age of 32 years from non- and the under-represented Member States, to join UNESCO at the early stage of their professional career.
Director, Bureau of Human Resource Management, UNESCO Paris, has invited applications for the YPP 2021 programme with a maximum of 15 candidatures per member state till the last date of 15th August 2021. Candidates will be selected after a thorough assessment of the applications and a pre-selection based on video interviews, after which a group of short-listed candidates will be interviewed for the final stage of the selection.
The selected candidates will be then appointed as UNESCO staff members at UNESCO Headquarters or in a Field Office on a regular fixed-term contract at P-1/P-2 level. The renewal of their contract will depend on the evaluation of their performance during the first 9 months probationary period.
The eligibility criteria for the individual applying to the YPP 2021 may be seen in the attached PPT. The combined applications are to be sent by the MoE for candidates from India.
In this regard, AICTE requests you to take necessary action regarding the above information for wide dissemination among all students and faculty members to avail the benefit of this program and submit the suitable proposals latest by 20 July 2021 by filling the google form https://forms.gle/Hr8r48Q7z1e9WvGX8
